Hublot is a House of Haute Horlogerie founded in Switzerland in 1980 by Carlo Crocco, and now owned by LVMH.

Challenge

Hublot reached out to us for the launch of two limited-edition sporty watches - the Big Bang Blue & Big Bang Red Magic. They wanted to promote these new products on their Instagram account, followed by more than 4 million people.

The client specifically asked for a Geneva based photographer specialised in luxury watchmaking photography, who’s never worked with the brand before. 
This talent had to sublimate the watches by staging them in a powdery decor, which gave to the photos a unique finish.

Solution

A dozens of photographers matching to the client’s demand have been submitted.

Hublot finally chose a photographer who owns a studio and who has already worked with gunpowder before to create the desired look. The selected talent also took care of the editing to fit the luxurious universe of the brand.

Deliverables

The photographer realised 7 shots in his studio and managed to create a dynamic look, thanks to the colored powder.
